Open the System Page (the gear/settings icon at the top of your screen), find the promo code box at the top, type or paste the code and confirm. Codes are NOT case-sensitive in BSS — 'Bopmaster' and 'BOPMASTER' both work, and spaces are tolerated. If a code says 'invalid', it has usually expired. The full working list is on our codes page.

Some codes — like ClubBean, 15MMembers and ThreeBeeVee — only redeem if your Roblox account is a member of the official Bee Swarm Simulator Club group. Join the group on Roblox (it's free), wait a few minutes for membership to register, then redeem normally. Club membership also unlocks the four club dispensers in-game, including the Honey Dispenser near the Lava Obby which pays honey scaled to your hive size on a 1-hour cooldown.

Macroing (automating pollen collection while AFK) violates Roblox's Terms of Use on automation and puts your account at ban risk. Plenty of players do it anyway via third-party tools, but it is not endorsed by Onett, and we don't recommend or link macro software. Everything on this site assumes you're playing legitimately.

46 obtainable hive bees: 1 Common, 9 Rare, 11 Epic, 8 Legendary, 6 Mythic and 11 Event bees. That count excludes NPC bees, hostile variants like Wild Windy Bee, and the cosmetic 'first edition' flag. The full sortable list with stats is in our bee index.

It depends on your stage. Early on, a gifted Basic Bee's +20% pollen hive bonus outperforms almost anything you can buy. In the endgame, community rankings consistently put the Mythics (Fuzzy, Precise, Spicy, Buoyant, Tadpole, Vector) and top Event bees (Tabby, Digital, Photon) at the top. Every egg has roughly a 1-in-250 chance of hatching gifted. Feeding a bee its favorite treat gives a small gifted chance per treat (about 1 in 8,000 for Rare bees up to 1 in 24,000 for Mythics), while a Star Treat guarantees it. A gifted bee gets boosted stats plus a unique hive bonus — stacking the right gifted hive bonuses is the core of endgame hive building.

Yes — slowly but reliably. Onett (the solo developer) shipped the most recent update in July 2026, and the game has never been abandoned since its March 2018 launch. It sits at over 4.5 billion visits with around 19,000 concurrent players.

Donate a Spirit Petal to the Wind Shrine first, then donate Cloud Vials — each donation after the petal has a chance to grant a Windy Bee Egg. Cloud Vials come from codes (BeesBuzz123 gives one), sprouts and quests. Windy Bee is widely rated one of the best white-pollen bees in the game.

Yes. BSS runs on any platform Roblox supports — PC, Mac, iOS, Android, and consoles with Roblox. Progress is tied to your Roblox account, so your hive carries across devices.

The official Roblox group is the Bee Swarm Simulator Club (required for club codes), the official Discord is discord.gg/bee, and the developer posts hints and codes on the OnettDev X (Twitter) account. Beware of fake 'code generator' sites — codes only ever come from Onett.
