How to Get Blue Extract in Bee Swarm Simulator (and Every Other Material)

Blue extract is the material that stalls most mid-game crafting projects: gear recipes demand stacks of it, and no single source produces it quickly. Here is every verified way to get it, ranked by reliability, plus what the extract actually does when used directly.

What blue extract does

Used from your inventory, a blue extract grants x1.25 Blue Pollen for 10 minutes (1-second cooldown). The buff doesn’t stack — using another extract while active only resets the timer — and a Purple Potion or Super Smoothie will override it. Its bigger role is as a crafting material for blue-side equipment and accessories.

Reliable sources, ranked

1. Blender crafting — the only on-demand source: 50 Blueberries + 10 Royal Jelly per extract. Expensive, but deterministic when a recipe is one extract short.
2. Guaranteed planter drops — the Blue Clay Planter and Hydroponic Planter are guaranteed to drop blue extract when harvested at 100% growth in appropriate fields. If you need extract steadily, keep one of these two planted forever. (Full planter mechanics in the planters guide.)
3. Memory Match — matching the blue extract pair pays 1 extract in Mega Memory Match and 3 in Extreme Memory Match.
4. Wind Shrine rewards — extract is among the shrine’s random returns for donations (the same shrine that eventually pays out Windy Bee).

Random-drop sources (don’t farm these, just collect)

• Mobs: rare drop from rhino beetles and mantises; common drop from King Beetle and Diamond Aphids — if you run King Beetle daily for jelly anyway, the extracts come free.
• Blue fields: farming (or popping leaves in) the Blue Flower Field, Bamboo Field, Pine Tree Forest or Stump Field rarely drops extract.
• Sprouts: rare drop, with better odds from rarer sprouts and sprouts growing in blue fields.
• Festive/cub gifts: Festive Bee’s gifts (when gifted) and cub buddies occasionally hand one over.
• Beesmas catalog bundles and sticker-stack rewards add batches during seasonal content — 25 at a time from the big bundles when they’re available.

The red mirror and the rest of the material economy

Everything above has a red twin: red extract follows the same pattern with red fields, red planters and red-side mobs.
